A great time out stand up paddle boarding, even with some rain coming in! We had a great time with Amanda and her family as we paddled around the Indian River Lagoon. We paddled out and got caught in a rain on the way back. Call us to join SUP Eco Adventures to book your adventure today.
Merry Christmas from SUP Eco Adventures
With the beautiful weather we are having in Central Florida, this is some awesome time to be out on the water. Stand Up Paddle boarding on the flat-water of the Indian River Lagoon this time of year is some of the most perfect weather. The air temperatures are in the high seventies and the winds are less than ten miles an hour. This is a short video of what our stand up paddle board area looks like in November. It’s a beautiful time to go for a paddle around our prestine area. A few minutes from Cocoa Beach, Vero Beach and Melbourne Beach, the flatwater allows beginner paddlers to learn how to SUP, without having to deal with the swells and waves of the Atlantic. Winter does bring bigger waves on the ocean, but the Space Coast has plenty of areas on the Indian River, which provide an awesome area to stand up paddle board. Stand Up Paddle Boarding Made Easy
As fall sets in on the Space Coast many are turning to the surf which is now kicking up in the Atlantic, but for those individuals who don’t want to head out through eight to ten foot swells, there is another way to get out on the water. Stand up paddle boarding is still a great way to get out on the water to see the sights, get exercise or just spend some time outdoors.
