First Nor’easter

Fall coming in
It was a great summer for enjoying and learning to stand up paddle board on Florida’s Space Coast. But now off the East Coast of Florida is the first Nor’easter of the season and with it have come extremely high winds and lots of rain. Summer weather patterns in Florida are very regular, clam mornings with afternoon storms moving into the area. Now, Phillip is a hurricane sitting off Florida’s Space Coast is bringing a great amount of moisture into the area. Now, communities up and down the Space Coast

are awash with up to 12 inches of rain and winds that are gusting up to 40 mph. This is affecting sup eco adventures schedule by having to monitor long range forecast. Towns such as Cocoa Beach, Melbourne Beach and Vero Beach on Florida’s East Coast are now bracing and attempting to mitigate the effects of this first Nor’easter of the season. The forecast now calls for this storm to possibly become a tropical storm, and continue to deliver rain and wind across the Florida peninsula. SUP Eco Adventures is watching the weather and looking out for about a week once all the weather is cleared. Therefore, if you are interested in learning to stand up paddle board, contact SUP Eco Adventures to book your adventure.
